
Ingredients and Amounts
- 5 cups of water
- 1 1/2 cups of sugar
- 1/4 lb of ground Jamaican Blue Mountain® Coffee
- 2 cups of your favorite rum
Instructions
- Place the 1/4 lb of ground Jamaican Blue Mountain® Coffee into and bowl and pour the 2 cups of rum over it
- Cover and leave at room temperature for 3 days
- Place sugar and water into a saucepan and heat over medium heat until the sugar is completely dissolved and the mixture begins to thicken into syrup
- Remove from heat and cool
- Strain the coffee rum mixture that has been sitting for 3 days, to remove coffee granules
- Add the sugar syrup
- Bottle and leave to age for at least 2 months
Makes approximately 2 pints or 1 liter of Jamaican Blue Mountain® Coffee Liquor
